Since June of 2019, when an agreement could not be reached on the new lease, the only change to HAVASOAP is no store front (thus maintaining the low price of just $5.00 per bar (TAX INCLUDED) for online orders. 

I miss the face to face contact with my customers, but love the time this affords me to make and design new soaps for individual orders.  

Christmas kept me quite busy, and I always love doing individual orders.  If you live in town, it is simple to arrange pick up or delivery of your order.  email remains the same:  [email protected]  Phone also is unchanged.  928-208-3214.  

Make a mental note for yourself to order gifts when needed.  I have yet to find ANYONE, ANYWHERE who doesn't like soap.  Remember...we have soap molds for most anything you can imagine...

Pinch me... am I dreaming?  Turn back the clock to the fall of 2013.  A chance opportunity.  Seized.  Dream realized.  Now, beyond wildest dreams..

My own tiny shop!  Selling MY handmade, lucisous, meaningful soaps!  

If you know me at all, you know I do love to share. In honor of 5 very productive years, I am sharing with a company I discovered less than a year ago. As I watched CNN Heroes, I found myself crying tears of gratitude for one of the top heroes...SAMIR LAKHANI. He founded Eco-Soap Bank.  You must watch his video and visit the website to see how and why it touched my soul.  Between the kids, soap, and education, I rejoiced that such a guy existed!  I immediately sent a donation on behalf of HAVASOAP.  I wanted to do more for him and his company.  Starting NOW...all of Havasoap "oops" soaps (under sized, slightly flawed in design)  will be recycled into loaves, cut in nice size pieces, and all profits from the sale of those soaps will go to Eco-Soap to help with the educational aspect of their company.  I am, and always will be an educator.  You can't take that out of this lady! Believing in being "neighbor nice", I will be sharing with people who NEED this very necessary staple. Talk about a win/win!  The OOPS- we've done it again soaps will sell for a mere 4.00 (tax is included in price). Yes, there is light at the end of this tunnel!  

For those of you who have been following the construction down at the English Village, you know it will soon be done!  

Ninety percent of the pavers are finished, the lights are in, and the landscaping will begin SOON!

Your patience during this process is greatly appreciated!  In the end, it will look amazing!

HAVASOAP remains open summer hours:  Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 11-3.

Please come down and say HI.  Because of the heat and the construction, business has been much slower than the usual summer months (which were already fairly slow).  If you come in and say I READ YOUR BLOG, you can get any $5.00 bar of soap for $4.00. during the month of August.   Special orders do not qualify for this. We are anxious to get back to business!  Stay clean..... Cinda 

As the temps reach triple digits here in Havasu, my thoughts go to cutting back open hours significantly to allow time to rebuild stock for next year's busy days.

Along with that, I need to do a lot of work on the havasoap.com website.  You can now charge your orders immediately, thus making turnaround time less than half.  In most cases, I will be able to send orders that day, or the next!  Now, I need to figure out how to integrate that technology into the checkout process!

Starting May 1, I will eliminate Wednesdays and Thursdays as an "open" day.  Mid week is always the slowest.  Tuesdays and Saturdays remain the busiest days.  Thus, May hours will be:

Tuesday 11-3

Friday-Saturday 11-3

In June (just as last year) hours will go to just one day a week..Saturday. 

I offer the option ALWAYS of calling and I can open just for YOU with no obligation to buy.  This worked quite well last year, and people did not hesitate to call for that opportunity.  Usually, I can be there within 10 minutes!  If family or friends come to town, and you just want to browse the shop....give me a call!  

So, starting Friday, I will be open 3 days a week for the month of May.

Beginning June 1, I will be open just Saturdays...or when you call!

Anyone who has ever visited HAVASOAP knows that this shop isn't just about soap.  It is a SOAP EXPERIENCE!  Good clean fun for everyone!  

To make sure of that, the soap lady's mind is constantly bubbling with new ideas.  

Recently she has been busily making "favorites" to make certain she has enough ready when the population of Havasu doubles come November!  Those favorites are: sleepytime, peppy peppermint, cedar and saffron, tart lemon, and of course THE LONDON BRIDGE (desert sage).  

Being a firm bliever that variety truly is THE SPICE OF LIFE, she offers something new each week.  

In November, there will be a "soap of the month".  It will be something seasonal, special and ON SALE!  

HAVASOAP is a happy little place with wonderful scents and so many choices.  There IS a soap for everyone.  

The location is ideal for both locals and visitors.  Free parking, the BEST view of the bridge, and easy access.

Everyday it is delightful to hear people say how happy they are that things down by the bridge are looking so much better.  The fountain is up and running, and the lions are all in action!  

Even if you don't need a bar of soap, stop by for a chat!  There is always something bubbling in the soap lady's head, and she would love to share that with you!

HAVASOAP is for you...if you want local businesses to stay.. you MUST support them.

Summer is here.  The summer hours for the shop are: Saturdays from 11-3.  You can make an appointment to have the shop opened anytime with no obligation to buy.  If you, friends, or relatives are looking for something to do in the summer heat, come spend some time sniffing new scents, and checking out new soap designs!  Just call 928-208-3214 or email: [email protected].  Arrangements can usually be made on a moment's notice.  Another option (if you wish to order something specific) is to call me or email the order, and we can arrange for you to come in and pick it up.  HAVASOAP is there for you.
